Personal growth is a process of working through and overcoming the blocks that keep you from becoming the person you really want to be, and setting and reaching new goals. It is a process that allows you to learn about yourself, others, and how you can live your life with meaning and purpose.

Personal growth can also be based around a desire to improve relationships with those you love. This could be an opportunity to work on personal emotional regulation and communication skills.

Sometimes letting go of old habits and behaviors that no longer serve us, and making healthier choices while learning and developing new perspectives, can be the most transformational time of your life. Often it’s hard to see the limiting beliefs, and patterns that hold us back.

Personal Transformation

The process of transformation is one that opens us up to see that we are more than what we believe ourselves to be. It allows you to see things from a different perspective and reveal the hidden, authentic parts of yourself that you may have put aside to ‘get on with life’.

Changes can happen over the lifespan that cause a need to reinvent yourself, these can include:

  • Divorce

  • Career or industry change

  • Returning to work after a long absence

  • Leaving the workforce to become a stay at home mum

  • Becoming an ‘empty-nester’
